Loss of Discount Level During Sales Events

Q:  I thought that I was a Choice Club Member, but when you hold a sales event, my discount level changes to that of a retail customer.  Has my membership & discount level been lost?

A:
During sales events, where the discount is a certain percentage off of retail, it is necessary to temporarily modify your membership level.  Standard Club Members receive a 25% discount off of retail, and Choice Club Members receive a 35% discount off of retail, but most sales events offer discounts of 40-90% off of retail, so it is to your advantage to have us temporarily modify your membership level.

The temporary modification is just that — temporary.  Once the sale is over, your membership and discount levels are restored.

Autoship Update Utility

Q
:  The Autoship Update Utility seems like a more complicated way of modifying my autoship subscriptions. The old system was based on two fields where I simply entered the number of kits and certificates that I wanted to receive. Why the change?

A:
The Autoship Update Utility (link located in the purple navigation bar) is the software application that autoship subscribers use to update autoship subscriptions. Just as an aside, autoship subscriptions are defined as PaperSeed kits (shipped monthly) or BreezyD Certificates (that are credited on account monthly). Either one of these autoship subscriptions qualify a club member to higher discount levels (Choice Club Membership specifically -- a 35% discount level). The old system provided the member with two fields to fill in (one for kits and the other for certificates).  The only problem with the old system was that there was no paper trail memorializing the changes that the club member was making, and identifying when those changes were made.  That problem has been eliminated using the Autoship Update Utility — now both Breezy and the club member have a document that records the changes that were made to these two values.

The quantities associated with an autoship subscription can be modified or affirmed in two different ways, as follows:

1. Whenever a member places an order, the member is required to enter the quantity of kits or certificates that he/she wants to receive in the following month.
2. Whenever a member utilizes the Autoship Update Utility, an order is generated where the member is required to enter the quantity of kits or certificates that he/she wants to receive in the following month.

Regardless of how many orders a member may place in any given month, the quantities need to be entered each and every time the customer places an order.  Because the two fields are required fields, the system accepts whatever values the member enters and holds those values and uses them for processing the next month.  The same is true when using the Autoship Update Utility.  The values entered are held and used for processing the next month.

Just remember, if you are already an autoship subscriber, or you have ever been a subscriber in the past, use the Autoship Update Utility to start/stop/update/modify your autoship subscriptions.  If you are a new autoship subscriber, follow the steps located in the Buyer's Club section of our website.
